Help Woodside Sanctuary by donating bedding and linen for persons with profound intellectual disabilities

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Woodside Sanctuary is a full-time residential care facility that provides life-long support to persons with profound intellectual and physical disabilities. We currently have 85 residents who are fully dependent on us for all their needs. Bedding and linen is an item that needs to be replaced on a regular basis as the industrial machines that we use for our washing can be quite hard on the fabric but are needed because of the amount of washing which is done daily at Woodside. We are now in need of new bedding and linen for all our residents' beds. Items needed include sheets (single), pillows, pillow covers, duvets (single) and blankets. Any assistance which could be provided would be most gratefully appreciated.

  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
