Help Woodside Sanctuary by donating a treadmill for 83 disabled residents

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

Woodside's physiotherapy programme is designed to help with posture support, balance, circulation, heart health, lowering blood pressure, and to help keep residents' muscles relaxed and flexible. This is achieved through a variety of activities, and one of our angels favourite exercise activities is taking turns walking on the treadmills. Sadly, of the three treadmills that we have at Woodside, two are now broken, leaving only one treadmill functional. This has unfortunately resulted in our residents needing to wait their turn and queue for longer than usual periods of time, causing frustration and boredom. It also means that since there is now only one treadmill, residents are not all able to have access to that piece of equipment every week. We would love to be able to get one or two additional treadmills rated for 120 kg and over for our physiotherapy department. Disappointingly, this is beyond our means, and the only option we have is to once again turn to you, our wonderful supporters and friends, to ask for your help. If you or anyone you know might be able to assist us with this need, please call Loné Lourens on 011 726 7318 or email at lbotha@woodside.co.za. We and especially those in our care would be incredibly grateful for any assistance that you might be able to offer.
