Child and Youth Care Center: Providing 24 hours a day, 365 days a year care for the specific and special needs of 25 abandoned, abused and neglected children through specialized services and programs, while creating a loving and supportive home that strives to resemble a 'normal' family setting. One of the few schools in South Africa, Amathemba Special Needs School focuses on teaching learners with FASD and additional learning barriers by providing individualized educational plans, skill development, and therapeutic support. The Living Life Project seeks to end the cycles of abuse, addiction, and desertion while providing children with a supportive adult environment as they transition into adulthood. We help young adults with FASD acquire the skills they need to live as independently as possible while giving them direction, meaning, and social opportunities to help them along the path to becoming self-sufficient. Anselm Farm: Teaches life skills via the care of land, animals, and young adults with intellectual disabilities. It is a working care farm which offers fresh food, free range eggs and composting.
