In our pursuit to create economic transformation and empower African youth to reclaim their narrative and lead social impact, we are closing the skills gap and providing essential resources for civic engagement. Our programs seamlessly integrate leadership and social entrepreneurship training with community-building initiatives, equipping young Africans to tackle social issues and transform their communities' incomes. Our programs encourage participants to implement Community Engagement Projects (CEP) that will positively impact their communities. Africa Matters supports these leaders' projects by providing seed funding of over R6000, along with mentorship and coaching to help scale their CEPs. Our programs' long-term impact is ensuring that every young South African secures employment, creates jobs, and establishes social enterprises. Our goal is to empower youth to implement sustainable projects that evolve into financially viable social enterprises and organizations, benefiting over 1,000 community members annually. By supporting our program participants, we set in motion a ripple effect that fosters economic empowerment, collaborative ecosystems, and skills development.
