Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
Dear Potential Partner, Subject: Champion an ECD Student Campaign – Request for Donations. We are reaching out to invite you to join us in championing our “ECD Student Campaign,” a fundraiser aimed at raising R780.00 per child per month for 200 Early Childhood Development (ECD) students over 12 months (January–December). As a low-fee school located in an informal settlement, we rely solely on sponsorships and donations to operate. Unfortunately, we do not receive funding, grants, or subsidies from the government, leaving our children at a disadvantage due to these challenging circumstances. There’s an African proverb that says, “It takes a village to raise a child,” and we at the Phronesis Students Development Trust NPO are inviting you to be part of this village. Together, we can ensure that children in the Kya Sands Pipeline Informal Settlement receive a safe and quality education. Our campaign provides individuals and businesses with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. For as little as R100.00 per month—what might be the cost of a single takeaway meal—you can transform a child’s life. This contribution offers hope, a quality education, and the promise of a brighter future. As Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world.” How Your Donations Help Your support will cover: Operating Hours: From 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM. -Daily Nutrition: Two meals daily (breakfast and lunch). -Education: Quality teaching, textbooks, exercise books, stationery, reading development, and homework tutoring. -Sports, Arts & Culture: Various activities, including choir, mini soccer, netball, chess, knitting, and other crafts. -Clothing: Full school uniform, school shoes, and a school bag. -Teacher-Child Ratio: One educator and assistant for every 20 children. Ways to Partner Monthly Contributions: Commit to a monthly debit order to sponsor the education and well-being of one or more students. Annual Contributions: Make a one-time annual donation to support one or more ECD students for the entire year. Once-Off Contributions: Choose to make a one-time donation for one or more ECD students. All donations to Phronesis Students Development Trust NPO are tax-deductible, as PSDT is a Section 18A Public Benefit Organisation. Your generosity will not only impact the lives of our children but will also contribute to building a better and more equitable future for our community. We are sincerely grateful for your consideration and look forward to your support.
