How can you help?

Help DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage with 50 volunteers for getting people to benefit us on their MySchool Card

Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

DAKTARI Bush School & Wildlife Orphanage is a beneficiary of the My School, My Village, My Planet program, where cardholders can provide funds for charities simply when doing their regular shopping at Woolworth, Engen, Walton and many more. The card is free and we need more cardholders to select DAKTARI as their beneficiary. All you have to do is ask your friends and relatives if they regularly use these shops and have the MySchool Card. If they do not have it they can ask for it at any of these shops, it's free! Then ask them to add DAKTARI to their list of charities they want to support through their purchases. The more you will promote us, the more we will receive each month!

Helpful tips

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
