What is a Top Tier Cause?
Top Tier Causes are the best of the best—organisations that consistently meet high standards of transparency, responsiveness, and quality. They’re setting the benchmark for community impact on forgood.
How Do Causes Qualify?
To become a Top Tier Cause, organisations must meet the following criteria:
- Log in regularly: At least once a month.✅
- Quick responses: Respond to volunteers and donors within 5 days, with an 80%+ response rate. ⏱️
- Up-to-date needs: Keep opportunities and needs current and relevant. 📅
- No outstanding issues: Resolve all concerns and payments. 🔍
- Strong quality score: Maintain a Cause quality & engagement score of 80% or higher. 📊
How Long Does It Last?
The Top Tier list is reviewed every quarter to ensure fairness and consistency. This gives Causes time to meet the criteria, recover from slip-ups, and maintain their performance.
