Yesterday, we received an emergency message about two pit bulls that entered a property and, without reason, attacked the owner’s dog. This is not the first time these specific dogs have been involved in such incidents, and sadly, several victims have lost their lives due to bite wounds. It's crucial to note that while the breed often gets blamed, the real issue here is negligence and lack of proper care and attention from the owners. The other dog owner has been entirely unapproachable and blatantly rude, making the situation even more challenging. The victim in this case is a single mother who, in a previous attack, had to use her own money to cover the victim's medical expenses. Now, with school supplies and fees as her priority, she finds herself in a difficult position again. Seeing her need, we offered our assistance. The NSPCA has been involved and has already visited both owners, ensuring the case will be taken further.
