Here's a little more info about this opportunity...
South Africa has a shortage of teachers in mathematics, science and technology. However, NSFAS no longer support for first year B.Ed students. Some high potential interns discover a love of teaching and a flair for it on our programme but lack financial resources. The Jumpstart Educator Bridge Bursary aims to support high-potential youth who are already tutoring maths in foundation phase (Grd1-3) to start their B.Ed qualification. Your donation is part of a long-term solution that will change individual lives as well as the outcome for South African education.
