Here's a little more info about this opportunity...

We provide mobile Safety Awareness and Self Defense training services to vulnerable women and children across SA. We are dedicated to providing women with the skills and knowledge to defend themselves. We need these new (or old and loved) items to help effectively train women across the country: *Practice Padding: Striking pads and kicking shields are necessary for practicing strikes and kicks without harming oneself or a partner. These training tools will help students develop their technique and power. *Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Basic PPE like mouth guards, groin guards, chest protectors and headgear will protect students from minor injuries during training exercises.

Stay safe

  1. 1Don’t pass any personal information to people you haven’t met offline before.
  2. 2When meeting one of your contacts offline for the first time, always be sure to arrange to meet in a public place.
  3. 3Make sure that you are not left alone with someone that you have never met before.
  4. 4Know where you’re going. If you’re headed off the beaten track or into an unfamiliar part of town, be sure you have directions and a GPS or map book.
  5. 5If you feel unsafe, consult the person in charge and let him or her know.
  6. 6Avoid wearing expensive jewellery: it could get damaged, lost or stolen.
  7. 7Ask, ask, ask! If you’re worried about something or concerned about your safety in a certain situation, ask the person in charge.
