I really do take a deep thought about my high school life. I remember how playful I was when it came to school work, teachers would frequently try to talk some sense into me about school work. It took me 2 years at high school to reach the place where I could find Salvator to myself. The Yakha Ikusasa Manje afterschool program was introduced to us in grade 10, for assisting in afterschool classes and I was one of the learners who were there to get this help with my Maths. Maths is a subject I have loved since my younger days. It happened that we were given a tutor who also had passion and patience in what she did. I started attending the Yakha Ikusasa Manje afterschool Program classes because I knew the tutor allocated to us had passion and guidance for the subject. Not only did that part I so loved, but I would also usually stay behind so I can solve more of my personal problems with my tutor. A few months passed after the program was introduced .later I found out that the program was on hold. I felt like power was taken away from me because that's the place I knew I would cry to " Yakha Ikusasa Manje Afterschool Program " so I decided to request for our Maths tutor's contact details and she still helped me in her family time. She was really a phone call away for further assistance. I started knowing her better than before in a way that I could share anything with her e. g personal problems, home challenges, and Academics problems. Thank you Julia Matiquina ( Tutor) for your passion for tutoring; those were the smooth times for me. You have molded me in a great way through the opportunity Presented by Yakha Ikusasa Manje afterschool Program gave us. Today I'm able to say if other youngers like me can get the chance that I got most of us would be in great warm hands, where faith in the future is provided.
