Last year's Annual General Meeting (AGM) presented a sobering reality: a R1 million loss due to our debts exceeding our liquidity and funding shortages. But we refused to let challenges define us. Today, we proudly share our modest turnaround with more work still needing to be done. In the face of financial uncertainty, our team and supporters demonstrated unwavering dedication and commitment to our cause. We reassessed strategies, optimised resources, and explored innovative fundraising solutions. The results are a testament to our collective effort. The difficulties we faced last year were, financial uncertainty and instability, but through it all, we have stood fast in our dedication to Woodside and what we stand for. We have attached a breakdown of our audited financial statements where we show you what has been achieved in the last year through your generous assistance. While progress is encouraging, we recognise that, as a NGO, our work is never done and we will always need to find a way to ensure our future and the future of those in our care.
