WeThinkCode_ is a software development training academy. Our mission is to recruit sharp young minds from underserved communities in South Africa and train them to become work-ready software developers. Our training is run over the course of 20 months. The academy is tuition-free for our students enabling us to deliver quality tertiary education & direct pathways to meaningful work opportunities to youth from low income households. We do this by focusing on three key pillars; 1) Recruiting youth that show a high aptitude for software development, with a particular focus on those with no prior coding experience. 2) Training these youth to be world class software developers equipped with market relevant programming skills. 3) Placing in permanent employment those youth that successfully complete the programme. Graduates leave WeThinkCode_ with a job and a certification.
