Shoprite Strokes of Genius winners
In 2008 the art centre learners came 1st 2nd and 3rd in the PEACE AROUND THE WORLD art competition, we also came fourth in the Shop rite STROKES OF GENIUS high school art competition, where our learner won a prize in the provincial category coming 4th.
As part of our community service our students go around painting murals on walls of local creches and churches in the township to make the environment of the little children who go there as pleasant and fun as possible, in this project we got a donation of paint from adobe systems.
