Ilamula House is our home for 23 girls in Mid Ennerdale. The children come from abused, abandoned and orphaned backgrounds and slowly but surely their lives are being put back together by the power of love. In addition to the care home we run a number of projects on the neighbouring informal settlement of Meriting. These include: A Weekly Granny Club A Gardening Project - we currently have over 100 individual organic veggie gardens plus our own market garden Daily Homework Clubs A Pre-School for 30 underprivileged children A Sewing School for Unemployed women A Library A Friday Night Feeding Station Ad Hoc workshops and training projects
