Thandanani Drop Inn Centre is a non-profit organisation that aims to empower communities by fostering social, economic and environmental development through targeted programs and initiatives. Our mission is to promote community development by addressing social ills and providing support to empower individuals within the community. Thandanani has the following programs: 1. Aftercare program: The aftercare program primarily focuses on early childhood development by grooming and equipping the children with skills and knowledge. Since the majority of them come from dysfunctional families, an early intervention approach is of significance. Program structure: •Education & homework assistance •Life skills and mentorship •Recreational activities & excursions •Feeding scheme 2. Drugs & substance abuse program: The purpose of this program is to transform the community into a drug-free one. We prepare drug users for rehab, offer them counseling, family reunification and feeding scheme. It also provides skills development training for recovering addicts. 3. Homeless program: Our mission is to provide a home for the vulnerable individuals who have nowhere to go. We offer a secure and nurturing environment where our beneficiaries can heal from their past experiences, receive skills & support, and feeding scheme. 4. Cleaning campaign program: The program aims to raise awareness about the importance of a clean environment, going green & climate change.
