The impact of Bridges of Peace
Our Bridges of Peace programme impacted 4200 children over a 4-month period in Soweto, Alexandra, and Johannesburg. Facilitated workshops and exhibits that promoted empathy and compassion between South Africans, refugees, asylum seekers, and other migrant communities. Selected as one of the ‘100 Beautiful Things’ exhibitions at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront in May 2020, Bridges of Peace fosters social cohesion, tolerance of diversity, empathy, and ubuntu through playful activities and exhibits and taking critical conversations with young people. We are proud of the significant impact the programme has had.
