Philenkosini Edu Care was initiated by Doreen in 2014. The community after perceiving that the idea was excellent for the development, safety and well being of their development, safety and well being of their little children, they then supported her. The Edu-Care is in a place whereby many young teenage mothers are situated, where many unemployed single parents are found. Philenkosini happened to be a good solution for most of the parents who wanted quality and equal education or early childhood development at fees that are affordable and situated for their monthly and daily budget. Vision: To see children being developed and well taken cared off irrespective of their background. Mission: To improve the quality of foundation regarding the children's needs. Objectives: -To improve early childhood development programs - To teach and improve language skills, thinking and ability - to offer cognitive, social and emotional development - To conduct parental workshops for the community -To offer a balanced nutritious meal to children Challenges: - Some parents would bring children without paying, - Some parents brings children with no snack, changing of clothes or nappies
