Since 2014, Light of Nation Youth Projects (LNYP) has been a beacon of hope, empowering youth, women, and people with disabilities in underdeveloped communities. We are a dynamic force committed to transforming lives through skill-building and community empowerment. OUR PROGRAMS 1. Computer Training: We equip our beneficiaries with essential digital literacy skills, enhancing their employability in today’s technology-driven world. 2. Ceiling and Partitioning Construction: We provide comprehensive training in construction techniques and safety standards, preparing participants for careers in the construction industry. 3. Merchandising: Prepares our participants for careers in the retail industry by training them in key retail skills. 4. Work Preparatory Skills: Focuses on developing essential workplace skills such as project management, communication, resume writing, and job interview techniques. 5. Job Placement Department: Supports beneficiaries in their job search and application processes, while fostering partnerships with companies to create employment opportunities. 6. Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF) and HIV Programs: These critical programs raise awareness about GBVF and HIV/AIDS, offering support to victims and conducting educational workshops on prevention, intervention, and community outreach to extend our impact. 7. Art, Culture, and Heritage Programs: Dedicated to preserving and promoting our rich cultural heritage, this program engages participants through cultural events, workshops, and exhibitions, fostering an appreciation for diverse cultural practices and nurturing creative talents VOLUNTEERING AND SUPPORT OPPORTUNITIES But we can't do it alone. We are inviting individuals and companies to contribute in various ways: - In-Kind Contributions: Volunteers will offer their time and expertise by participating in training sessions, mentoring participants, and assisting in organizing events and workshops. - Monetary Donations: Financial contributions will help sustain and expand our programs, allowing the organization to reach more participants and enhance the quality of our services. - Corporate Partnerships: Companies can collaborate by offering job placements, internships, and sponsoring specific programs, thus directly impacting the lives of the beneficiaries. - Material Donations: Donations of equipment, tools, office furniture and other resources are crucial for our training programs, enabling participants to gain practical experience.
