Khula Unqobe Creative Art's mandate is to render programs to all children that will enable them to positively develop holistically. Our program is guided by four pillars: Literature/language/Communication, Arts Education, Finance Literacy, and Health and wellness. With these four pillars, we believe that children will obtain skills like reading, writing, public speaking, and performing, they will create habits that will help them manage their finances, entrepreneurship skills, self-awareness, social skills, an appreciation for the arts, and healing through the arts. Our program empowers both the children and their families, through our health and wellness workshops we are based in Protea Glen and also have another branch in Fochville. We reach out to our beneficiaries through ECD centers, mainstream schools, and afterschool activities throughout the week and we employ a team of youths to execute the program for our beneficiaries. Our current reach totals several 827 beneficiaries a week. We support ECD centers through our creative art and health and wellness program. We support creative art teachers who feel overwhelmed by the creative art subject in the classroom by helping them with art activities that are relevant to the lessons. Our afterschool program uses all four pillars (Literature, Financial education, Creative arts, and health and wellness.)
