• We contribute to the alleviation of rampant levels of poverty by distributing food parcels to indigent families in the community through assistance by local retail businesses. • We address poverty and starvation as mainly precipitated by unemployment by promoting backyard gardening in schoolyards and households thereby promoting food security. • We deal with the high levels of unemployment and skills shortage by helping young people getting, learnership and entrepreneurial opportunities on offer in private and public sectors. • We administer training programmes to empower young people and the aged with self-suffiency skills in agriculture and entrepreneurship in order to advance their social and economic integration. • We co-ordinate and facilitate skills development and capacity building programmes for young people in order to enhance their employability thereby reducing poverty and crime
