Whole Life Coaching

Transforming through Sports and Education

The Ubabalo Whole Life Coaching programme is an initiative designed to use sports as the basis for more fulfilling relationships between the players and the coaches. Whole Life Coaching establishes a connection between a sports activity to the other aspects of everyday life. This model encompasses the development of the individual in five key aspects of their lives: the Emotional, Physical, Spiritual, Social and the Intellectual. The cricket team, coached by Keegan and Kaitlin Adank have put Ubabalo into practice in their squad and it has yielded immediate results within two weeks of implementation: πŸ’― Increase in player attendance. πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Parents are frequently attending the training sessions. ⏰ Players arrive early. πŸ—£ Players are comfortable with sharing their feelings and what they've learnt during training, which in turn helps them with emotional regulation and control. 🏏 Players take responsibility for cricket equipment and resources. It can only get better from this point on. The Ubabalo project will continue into football and netball and soon enough, the changes will be as palpable as heavy rains after a period of long drought. #Corinthians #Ubabalo #Cricket #WeAreAllWitnesses
