AWARDS CEREMONY 2023

Corinthians hosted an awards ceremony on Saturday the 2nd of December, honouring all the faithful, dedicated members who kept the organisation going for the year 2023. The ceremony had three sessions, with the first beginning at 10AM, the second at 12PM and the third at 1:30PM. The event kicked off with the junior football team and cricket team receiving their honours, followed by the Blind Football team and the Afterschool Programme, and lastly, the senior men's football team and the netball team. Awards were given to the members of the teams that recorded a minimum of 60% attendance throughout the year. For Blind Football, awards were handed to those who took part in the course to attain their SAFA accredited coaching licences. For the members of the junior teams, Trustees school shoes, sponsored by Old Mutual, were handed to them along with their certificates. Our guests for this event featured Councillor Faezza Chame, Superintendent Eugene Bezuidenhout from the JMPD, Mamelodi Sundowns defender Katlego Mohamme, Thapelo Xhego from Khulisa, Lauren Borchers, as well as the many parents and beneficiaries that came through in numbers. The event was a massive success. The general mood was that of satisfaction and contentment.
