Sorting out a library with Standard Bank
A Standard Bank Team partnered with CEEP to clear out a library & mobilize the team
I met Michelle Seymore from Standard Bank and for the last two months we have been sorting out the library at the Orthandwni youth care centre. The library was full of books that had been donated to the centre that are not suitable for children. Michelle got volunteers from her team to help us sort out the library and the out of date books have been placed in large recycling bags that will be collected and the books recycled. In the new year we are raising money to do a number of initiatives to promote reading at the home. Their will be a structured reading program at the home so we can look to continue with this.
