Interactive murals for ECD
CEEP is piloting an interactive mural project at a Early ChildHood Development centre in Diepsloot. We have done the mural in the grade R class. The mural is based on an idea I have seen in India called Building as Learning Aid. The founder believes building can be used for teaching The mural is a adult and childrens chalk board for the teacher to give lessons on the adult chalk board and for the children to copy on the childrens chalkboard. Lessons are going to be put in to the tree to reinforce learning Teachers have said they want to focus on reading, writing and maths activities on the board. CEEP is looking for donations to do more of these murals
